Facts & Information
Ports of Call
Inside Passage Cruise through the maze of islands that crowd the edges of the Inside Passage. The undisturbed landscape of rising mountains and small islands is striking and beautiful. You will spot bald eagles, whales, sea lions and more as you cruise along.
Ketchikan Alaska’s first city is wedged between the
waters of the Tongass Narrows and the steep forests of Deer Mountain. Jetties and staircases make getting about a novel experience, while just outside of town are some of the world’s largest collections of totem poles.
Juneau Alaska’s capital is also one of America’s most beautiful cities. A tram ride to the top of Mount Roberts is a great way to appreciate the view. Visit one of the many mining museums, try panning for gold and shop in the old town, much of it dating back to the 1800s.
Sawyer Glacier Surrounded by snow-capped mountains at the end of Tracy Arm Fjord, Sawyer Glacier is home to some wonderful wildlife. Seabirds, seals, sea lions and porpoises all have their home in the region.
Skagway From one log cabin to a town of 20,000 souls, Skagway grew overnight in the winter of 1897-98. The Gold Rush came and went, leaving a desolate trail of corruption and gun-fighting desperados. The railway
followed soon after and you can still ride the White Pass and Yukon Route railway today.
Vancouver Arrive back into the scenically beautiful, exciting and cosmopolitan city of Vancouver.
Alaska Shore Excursions
Those with a spirit of adventure can see the hidden Alaska on one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s many Shore Excursions available at most ports of call. There are over 80 adventures for you to choose from and each one
offers an unforgettable experience; see the majestic humpback and orca whales; see stunning scenery by bike or canoe, or take a leisurely hike to enjoy the flora and fauna. You will receive further information with your
final travel documents or shortly after embarkation.
